On behalf of the children, staff and governors of Gosbecks Primary School I would like to welcome you to our school and website. Our aim is for our website to be a useful tool of communication that supports the relationship between home and school, so if you cannot find anything that you are looking for, please contact the school office.
We are committed to helping children to achieve their potential and to 'Be the Best You Can Be.’ Every decision that we make in school reflects this aim and our broad and balanced curriculum is designed to give our children the opportunities that they need to become confident, happy, responsible and successful, ready for their next steps in learning and the world.
Our curriculum aims to develop the whole child, teaching them academic, physical, cultural awareness, emotional wellbeing and social skills. We also strongly believe in teaching character and values that all parents would want their children to have such as: tolerance, kindness and aspiration. As learners, we teach them how to develop creative thinking, independence and resilience.
We believe that children thrive when they feel safe, enjoy their learning and are challenged to achieve their best. All of our teachers have high expectations of the children, but also offer strong pastoral care and support whenever it is needed. Our inclusive school, recognises that every child is unique and we celebrate and reward their individual talents and achievements.
We are very proud of our school and we would always recommend a visit during the school day, where you can experience our warm, welcoming atmosphere and vibrant classrooms.
