National Book Review Competition
Congratulations To Amy Cook in Year 5 for coming third in the Nobby's Travels National Book Review Competition. Amy won a £10 iPod voucher and a £50 book voucher for herself and a cheque for £500 for the school. We would like to thank everyone who voted for Amy and of course Amy herself for winning such a vauable prize for the school.
Pond
Gosbecks are revamping their pond area. We will be posting photographs as they become available.
Summer Fete - June 28th
Our long serving Head Teacher will retiring the end of this term after 26 years service, so this was his last Fete at Gosbecks as Head Teacher although we hope he will come back as a visitor:-). Many faces from the past visited on the day to take a trip down memory lane. The theme was the 80s as this was the decade when David Burrage joined Gosbecks. There was themed dancing and singing by the children and also specialt guest Heather Atwell. The day was a great success thanks to a tremendous amount of hard work by all involved. The weather kind too.
