Gosbecks School was opened in 1957. The school has its own playing fields and is situated in very pleasant surroundings. The grounds have a variety of wild life habitats including a pond and a woodland area, all of which are used by the children for study. Within the school there is a modern well equipped kitchen where hot meals are prepared and served daily by the school's catering team.
Gosbecks School is located in an area of historical importance being within walking distance of Gosbecks' Archaeological Park. On the site there are the remains of a Pre-Christian Temple and a Roman Theatre. Surrounding the site is a complex Iron Age defensive dyke system. For more information visit the link below.
